Woop Woop When You Run Come Around, ‘Cause I Know You’re The Talk (or Not) of the Town, Yeah

So you know this song:

Of course you do, everybody does.  When it comes on, even the wall floweriest of the wall flowers, the leftiest of the two-left feet crowd, and that hipster with the really great neck muscles honed during countless nights of aloofishly nodding along to throbbing beats in crowded clubs gets on their feet, and starts breakin’ it down.

But did you know, the chick who sings this song died, like two years ago? Yeah, didn’t think so. In fact, no one does*. So here we all are, gettin’ down to this song in the club (or in that Target commercial) all the while, without a clue that the singer has died. Freaky, right?

*Sidenote: No one even actually knows the lyrics to this song either.  New Roomate and I didn’t even know they were singing in English…

Sometimes I Wish I Was A Tanner

Never mind why someone made a montage of Stephanie Tanner’s greatest dancing moments on Full House, just appreciate the fact that it exists.  As every middle child knows — this blogger included, the middle child is usually the sweetest member of the family, but the oldest and the youngest get all the credit because they’re showoffs and attention whores, respectively.  Am I the only one who thinks Michelle was actually the worst Tanner? She was eight by the time the show ended, and had still barely mastered basic English.

As this montage shows, little Jodi Sweeten is actually a really good dancer. Oh, and at 0:24, I’m pretty sure you can see the beginning traces of her foray into crystal meth…

You Can’t Dance Better Than This Kid

I’m not sure what’s funnier: the fact that 5 year olds are dancing to Flo Rida or that the boy hits his butt when they lyric “gives her booty a smack” comes on. It’s a toss-up.

Thanks for the heads-up Steph!
