The people who put together movie trailers really don’t get enough credit. Seriously, putting together a bunch of clips to a probably shitty movie, and making it look good? That’s a gift. And so it is with New York, I Love You, a movie comprised of a series of vignettes directed by a series of directors, staring a series of actors — all set in the city of New York. An idea completely ripped off of the delightfully charming Paris, Je T’aime. New York, I Love you has a lot of buzz around it — but not exactly good buzz. In fact, it’s generally agreed that this movie is going to kind of suck hard when it comes out this autumn. And yet, after watching this trailer, I will see it.
