Sometimes You Need a Good Cry
I’ve been known to have a heart of stone. I didn’t cry in The Notebook and I’m not even moved at that Scottish lady singing in that youtube video thing going around. However, I couldn’t shut off the water works when I read My Sister’s Keeper by Jodi Picoult. Tears were streaming down my face like effing Niagra Falls. I got some odd looks from people at Starbucks. Well, turns out I’ll be crying like a baby soon because it’s coming out as a movie this fall. I saw the trailer today and I had to do everything in my power not to start heaving in sobs. Watch and judge for yourself.
