Hope you enjoyed the holidays/time off from work/excuse to stuff your face with cookies and pie.  This holiday season I decided to treat myself to actually utilizing that tumblr account I created a year ago.  Annnnnd so I did.  At like 2am I created Found Objects, a blog of everyday life, told through pictures.  Don’t worry, I’m not cheating on this blog with another blog, it’s really just a photo-blog side project.  You know how Jack White has both The White Stripes and The Raconteurs? It’s like that.

3 Train, Monday

A guy who posts his drawings of people in the subway.  I want one of me!  Ha. Yeah, I definitely took a good 5 minute detour to look around and post this, which, at 12:27am is generous.  Love this stuff, it’s so New York.  Maybe I’ll buy some…maybe.

Watching Three Men and a Baby of course. True or False: I totally loved this movie when I was 5.   Of course I did.  As I’m watching it now, I clearly had no idea that it was about three guys who were total man sluts.  One of them being Steve Guttenberg. I was such a weird girl.

This is actually artist Jorge Columbo’s second cover for the New Yorker but as someone who has a weak spot for skylines and the Chrysler building, this one is my favorite.  I still can’t believe this was created on an iphone. Below is a link to the New Yorker website that has videos of him completing the works on his phone.  It’s pretty neat.
